Local Institutes:
AIC Local Chapters
The American Institute of Chemists is comprised of eight local chapters or "institutes" that elect officers, meet regularly and develop new programs. Many local institutes have an annual Student Award banquet to honor outstanding seniors, post-baccalaureate, and post-doctoral students majoring in chemistry, chemical engineering, or biochemistry.” Local institutes provide an excellent opportunity for professional involvement and networking throughout the year.
There are currently local institutes in these areas. If you would like to start a local institute in your area, please contact the AIC National Office.
