Summary of Membership Categories

Affiliate
Non-voting members including student members and those not qualified for Associate Membership
Associate Member
Minimum of a baccalaureate degree (or equivalent qualifications from outside the USA with a minimum of a three year academic degree) from an academic institution.
Member
Members shall have a minimum of a baccalaureate degree (or equivalent qualifications from outside the USA with a minimum of a three year academic degree) from an academic institution and four years of professional experience.
Fellow
Minimum of a baccalaureate degree in a chemical science and at least 10 years of progressive experience in the chemical sciences after having acquired the baccalaureate.

Life Fellow (FAIC)

Criteria:

If a fellow would like to pay a one-time fee of $3,000, they may become a Life Fellow. This entitles the Fellow to membership in the AIC for the rest of their life.
Dues:
One-time fee - $5,000 (Click for payment instructions)
Notes:

If they wish to receive a subscription to The Chemist, they must pay the subscription fee of $35 annually.
